2024 Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club Women's Invitational Tournament
​The 2024 WHRLGC Invitational will be known as: The Invitational that Almost Was. Most of our
community is aware that the Mill Fire, which burned almost 3000 acres, started just across the
street from the Whitehawk Ranch entrance a mere 90 minutes before competition was to begin.
The golf course was quickly closed and the Invitational canceled. It is not being rescheduled
for this year as it just will not fit into the logistics of the summer. Tee prizes were distributed and
entry fees were refunded; minus the amounts to cover the tee prize and the amount that we
paid out to our vendor, Sierra Smoke Show.
The 2025 Invitational is set for July 21 and 22 next year.
The theme will be similar, so save your amazing outfits.

Ladies Play Day July 2nd - Red Team vs Blue Team

Blue Team: Marcia, Pat, Susan, Judy, Joann, Patty, Sue, and Chris
Happy 4th of July week to everyone! In honor of the holiday, we played the Red Team vs the Blue Team. It was a Stableford Net competition. The teams were pretty even with the Red Team having a combined index of 174.2 and the Blue Team at 170.6. In the end, the Blue Team won with 244 points while the Red Team had 232 points.
Top Points went to Cindy Hannah with 37 points and Betty Lease with 36 points for the Red Team.
Top Points for the Blue Team went to Sue Peterson and Pat Luther with 35 points each.
Inaugural Grae-Hawk Tournament
The results are in and..........the Whitehawk Ladies won the inaugural Grae Hawk Match! The score was close after the first day - Whitehawk 38.5 to Graeagle 33.5. The second day of singles matches at Graeagle was quite a surprise - Whitehawk 80 points to Graeagle 64 points. Total for both days was Whitehawk 118.5 to Graeagle 97.5. Great scores by Joann and Leslie on the final day to bring it home, winning their matches 11.5 to 6.5!!
Many thanks to all the Whitehawk Ladies that participated - Barbara, Leslie, Betty, Marcia, Judy, Michelle, and JoAnn. The comraderie was fantastic, and we hope that we can expand the group to twelve next year. I think this could be the start of something BIG for future years.
